Went to diner on Saturday and got the chicken &veal parmigiana with eggplant along with tortellini was real delish. Appetizers were clams casino a little small but good and rice balls was amazing. Definitely will be going back. Services was awesome as well.

A couple of years ago we discovered this place that we had driven by a hundred times. Rosey's has solid Italian food at a very reasonable price. I had the veal parmesan which was very good as was the side of angel hair. The lots o'pasta plate was exactly as expected with ravioli, stuffed shells, manicotti, tortellini, and a big meatball. The only disappointment was the seafood bisque which was thin and weakly flavored. The server was very friendly.

Rosey's was good and not so good. The décor is adorable and the staff is helpful. It's the food I have a problem with. I ordered the pasta platter which is a sample of everything including a meatball. Nothing on the platter was remarkable....just ordinary. More than enough food with plenty leftover for another meal. It's just that the upcoming meal doesn't thrill me! I will probably try Rosey's again, but this time I will dine there.

I have passed Rosey's a few times and last week, I stopped in. I was actually expecting a casual sub shop with the window deli case and all the condiments. That's not the case at Rosey's. It is a full service sit down restaurant with Servers, bar, etc. The menu also surprised me. Rosey's carries a comprehensive menu of Italian specialties along with sandwiches, pizza, etc. I had a special, Baked Haddock. My guest had a pasta dish. Service was prompt, the staff was courteous and the food was good, meaning about a 7 on a 1-10 scale. A bit more seasoning would have been helpful. I'll try Rosey's again.

We had a fun time. The food was great and the portions are impossible to eat in one sitting. Excellent home style Italian food. The garlic bread with cheese is amazing. I had the Alfredo with broccoli. The Alfredo sauce was tasty. I would have liked to see more vegetarian options. A vegetarian lasagna would have rocked. The setting is charming and intimate. We had great chats with other diners.

My husband and I decided to take a chance on a new to us restaurant. Rosey's was a nice little neighborhood spot where nothing was wrong exactly, but nothing wowed us either. The food was traditional Italian, but a little bland, the prices were reasonable and the atmosphere cheery. My personal preference would've been to have the space a little less brightly lit, cause I was in the mood for a little romance and lowering the lighting, plus a candle on the table covered with a traditional checked tablecloth, would've improved the atmosphere. . My only real quibble was with the service. It was just a little too attentive, but really, too much attention is better than too little. We probably won't be back. There are other Italian restaurants whose food we prefer.

I get the alfredo when we go here and its always great. My wife wasn't thrilled with a server standing about three feet from us and coughing hysterically. Which I don't disagree with. Gross. But food is good and they just expanded for more seats which is nice. Was a bit cramped before. A good place is you don't mind dodging loogies (luckily I don't. )

having read the raving reviews, we decided this would probably be a good choice. Far from the truth! First the decor is similar. to a fast food place...no ambiance, tables close together, absolutely very, very casual. The part that matters the most, the food , was terrible! The chicken artichoke french was tasteless and very watery. The side dish of pasta was canned sauce poured over cooked pasta with the bottom of the dish colored water. Never saw this before. The second time the hurried waitress flew by our table asking about our food, I told her my observations. She did ask if she could make any corrections and I said no. It was too late for us to wait further. My advice.....think about all the rave reviews when you see them on yelp. Not sure... MO

This is how I think of Rosey's: if you went to a friend's house and they served this food, you would eat it and politely tell them it was good. It wouldn't make you sick or anything, but you certainly wouldn't want to pay for it. There are so many other really good Italian restaurants in Rochester. Even though they are right down the street, I will not be going back. I didn't even want my leftovers, I just took them home to be polite.

This is one of those places that you walk into and think- Is this really a sit down restaurant? But YES it is! And it is DELICIOUS! The smells that come out of this place are amazingly spectacular. The portions are ENORMOUS! My daughter gets the chicken parm and I swear it is just enough to feed an entire family! She loves it and ends up eating it for two days afterwards. I enjoy the gnocchi. Top it of with the Greens and Beans and it is just AMAZING! Not TOO heavy but very filling and, again, huge portions. So great for a veggie option while I am out. My youngest gets the kids spaghetti that comes with a giant meatball. She leaves with a smile on her face each time. I promise it is worth waiting in the little hallway for a seat... you will leave with a happy full belly and beyond satisfied with the food and service... We love it!

My grandma use to love it here because of its authentic taste and took me there once before she passed. Instantly fell in love :) My family and I now come as often as we can. The food is fantastic as well as the staff. Highly recommend it!

Had a gift card so we figured we would try Rosey's out tonight. We were very pleasantly surprised with our experience. We started with the rice balls appetizers which were excellent and full of flavor. The sauce here was also fantastic. I had the crispy chicken Alfredo over fettuccine and was definitely not let down. The chicken was well seasoned and the sauce was very creamy. My wife had the parm platter which had veal, chicken, and eggplant parm all of which were also very tasty and well seasoned.

Since half stars aren't possible, let's just pretend I gave it 3.5. Rosey's seems to hold its own among the assortment of downtown places that are only open for weekday lunch. It's a surprisingly large space on an edge of downtown, pretty close to Eastman. It's a good thing there are a lot of tables, because it seems to have quite the following. For about $8, I got some bread, a simple but tasty salad, and a huge portion of rigatoni (and a meatball) that I will be finishing off tomorrow for lunch. I'm pretty happy with that price, especially considering that I'm getting a whole second meal out of it. The food was decent--very simple and traditional. The meatball had a strange consistency, but I was satisfied with everything else. The service was extremely fast and friendly. If I worked downtown, I'd probably go there pretty often. The decor is a little bit dated, but it's friendly and clean, and that's really all that matters. Get there early--it starts filling up around noon, and parking can be a pain. The convenience, speed, and friendliness make it a decent lunch even though the food's not amazing. The desserts sounded good (and they're cheap!) but I was too full to try one. Maybe next time :)

Very good food! Had gnocchi with mozzarella it was perfect. Portions are huge, service is great.

I stopped in yesterday for lunch. I had the chicken and eggplant parmesan combo with angel hair pasta. It was only $7.99, and it was HUGE! It came with great fresh bread and a tasty little salad to start. The service was extremely friendly, and definitely made the meal even more enjoyable. The only suggestion I have for them is to slice the eggplant a bit thicker--but that's a really minimal suggestion. Rosey's gets very busy around Noon, but the turn around time is very quick, without being too pushy. Overall, good food, good service, amazing price. I'll be back for sure!

If you want delicious home cooked food served by some of the nicest people around at a reasonable price, Rosey's is for you. Rosey is there to greet you. Pasta is yummy and food is fresh. I am a fan of the crispy chicken salad, ziti and eggplant parm sandwich.

About Taco Bell

Taco Bell is a haven for Mexican delicacies such as tacos, quesadillas, burritos, nachos, and other specialty items. Owned by Yum! Brands, Inc. Taco Bell is one of the fastest growing American chains of fast food restaurants. The restaurant operates from 7,072 different locations which are mostly run by independent franchisees and licensees.

The background story of Taco Bell is interesting and inspiring for budding entrepreneurs. The fast-food brand is the brainchild of Glen Bell, who started his first food venture as a hot dog seller in San Bernardino, California. The year was 1948. After witnessing long queues outside a Mexican restaurant called Mitla Café across the street, Bell saw the opportunity and demand for hard-shelled Tacos. He reverse-engineered the recipe and later started selling Tacos and called the venture Taco-Tia.

Later, the name changed from Taco-Tia to El Taco. Eventually, Glen Bell sold the company to his partner and opened the first Taco Bell in Downey in 1962. By 1964, the restaurant also got its first franchise in Torrance. The 100th Taco Bell restaurant was opened by 1965. PepsiCo acquired Taco Bell from Glen Bell in 1978 and the restaurant brand is currently a subsidiary of Yum! Brands which looks after the restaurant business of PepsiCo.
